From 1977 to 1985, RGI was an advertising/marketing company. But, in 1985, we were presented the opportunity to manage a national trade association. It was a very propitious event because it became very clear that the marketing skills that the company possessed transferred quite easily to association management.
Therefore, a conscious business decision was made to divest our company of its advertising/marketing clients and seek associations to manage. RGI was successful in that decision and since 1989 our only business has been to manage associations, and, we love it! In fact, our background has served our clients well because without marketing and communications skills, we would not have been successful in helping them grow and prosper.
We are proud of the fact that we are a marketing company that manages associations not an association management firm that happens to help market associations. But, to make sure an association stays successful, we know that it also must have a strong management structure. With our experience and philosophy, we give our clients both strong support services and the marketing expertise to see that the association prospers and is able to serve its members effectively.
